Shamaya Tantra’s Embodying Tantra is an experiential program full of practical exercises that allow you to uncover your own, deeply personal relationship with Tantra. The next full day experiences in the Shamaya Tantra Embodying Tantra program are Tantra 201 & Tantra 301. These immersions dive into what it means to infuse the ancient teachings of Tantra into your everyday life.

Now that you have the foundation from Tantra 101 under your belt, we can travel further into Tantric techniques, group coaching and, many more partner exercises.

Tantra can be intimidating – often times it is presented as overly sex-centric or too complicated to import into day to day things.

The purpose of Embodying Tantra is to infuse the teachings into the everyday fabric of your life so that your spiritual practice merges with your “real world” activities.

This course goes far beyond the theory and contains many psycho-somatic, bodywork, and breath exercises to bring the teachings further into habits, mental routines and automatic responses.

We will use the “Embodying Tantra” method of learning through mind, body and experience to:

  • Deepen and heal your relationship with the masculine/feminine

  • Practice conducting your own sexual energy

  • Learn how to drop into a form intimacy that surpasses sexuality

  • Strengthen your communication and boundary setting

  • Increase the authenticity and fluidity of your relationships

  • Attune yourself to perceive joy in simple or even complicated moments

  • Reconnect with lost, disowned, or never before discovered parts of you

 

MAIN TOPICS FOR TANTRA 201 WORKSHOP

  • As a group we will unpack the stereotypes and get to the core of these two primary energies. You will get a chance to mirror and be mirrored by others in the workshop to taste the nuances in how these energies are expressed from person to person. We will then create “cheat sheets” for quickly stepping into your authentic masculinity and femininity essence as the moment calls for.

  • Tantra is a way of relating with the world where every person, object, situation and feeling is a potential portal into high states of consciousness. Our 5 senses were designed to be readily accessible portals but we've lost touch with how to use them this way. You will learn how to use your sense of sight, smell, taste and touch to transport you into a sublime state of being.

  • Building on the introduction the chakras in Tantra 101, you will learn the Sanskrit names of the chakras, the color system revealed by the original Tantric texts, and work in partners to develop your own map of accessing the centers as they best serve each moment in your day.

  • Whether you are in a position of needing to activate your sexual energy, or seeking to tame an excess, we will explore how to create an intentional activation and then mindfully direct the energy through an intense breathwork sequence. As sexual energy moves up through the increasing subtle chakra centers, it changes form – transmutes – into sublime forms of energy that aid with healing, expansion and tasting new states of consciousness.

About the facilitator:

Heidi is a Tantra Facilitator, founder of Shamaya Tantra and creator of the King of Hearts VIP coaching program for men.

Her mission is to share the precious tools of Tantra to infuse more intimacy, belonging and bliss into the human experience.

Prior to becoming a full time Tantrika, she obtained a Bachelor of Commerce, completed the CA Chartered Accountancy Program and worked with a Big 4 Accounting firm.

She’s been a guide on the Tantric path since 2014, co-created the Canadian Tantra festival, and has had the privilege of sharing her passions with groups in Canada, the US, and Asia.
